Thermal Oils

Nextherm 332 is fully additized thermal oil containing advanced anti-oxidants which helps ensure a long oil life and protection against thermal breakdown. Nextherm 332 is based on highly refined mineral oils and is suitable for applications up to 332OC (bulk temperature).

Nextherm 340 is an advanced thermal oil that provides both a very high flash point as well as excellent heat transfer performance at a wide temperature range. Nextherm 340 is ideal for systems operating without the protection of an inert blanket and in systems without forced circulation. Nextherm 340 is also a food grade formulation and meets H-1 requirements for incidental food contact.

Nextherm FG is a food grade thermal oil that meets requirements for applications with the possibility of incidental food contact (H-1). Nextherm FG is a fully additized formulation with excellent resistance against oxidation and thermal breakdown.

Nextherm FG-HF is a food grade version of Nextherm HF. This formulation provides a high level of performance as well as a very high flash point all while maintaining compliance with the requirements for lubricants in applications with the possibility of incidental food contact.

Nextherm HF is a thermal oil with a high flash point (270OC). The high flash point of this formulation allows for higher temperature operations in applications that must operate below the flash point of the thermal oil.

Nextherm LT is ideal for applications operating at either a constant low temperature (-40OC) or cyclic operating conditions. Nextherm LT is a food grade formulation and meets the requirements for applications with the possibility of incidental food contact.

Nextherm MT has been formulated for use in systems with both heating and cooling cycles. Nextherm MT is easily pumpable at temperatures down to -25OC and is stable at high temperatures up to 250OC. Nextherm MT is a food grade formulation and meets the requirements for applications with the possibility of incidental food contact.

Nextherm SLT is a silicone based thermal oil that provides excellent fluidity at ultra-low temperatures while maintaining excellent stability at high temperature. Silicone oils offer superior protection against oxidation ensuring a very long oil life.

Nextherm SYN is a thermal oil based on synthetic alkylated thermal oil. This thermal oil is formulated for use in open and closed loop systems as well as systems with and without the protection of an inert gas blanket.
